The mission of The Patchwork Forest is to take left-over pieces of land, that lay scattered across the landscape and turning them into inspiring oases for art, culture and the appreciation of nature. Each “patch” of the forest will have its own unique theme and all of them will be 100% free for the public to visit.
 
On July 1st 2023 The Patchwork Forest became a physical reality, with the purchase of the first plot of land on the Danish island of Falster. This is the start of a brand new project, that over time will become both a large-scale living artwork, as well as a new platform for activities that celebrate biodiversity and creativity.
