Stine Linnemann is an artist and activist. Her practice is centered around creating art for and with people. This includes social art projects, co-creation, land art, street art and creative activism within the fields of social justice, sustainability and climate activism. Textile craft, techniques and references are often present in Linnemann’s work, owing to her background in textile design and her years working for high-end luxury fashion brands around the world.
In 2023 the land art project “The Patchwork Forest” was launched on the Danish island of Falster with the purchase of the the project’s first plot of land. The Patchwork Forest is both a platform for art and biodiversity, creating opportunities for artistic collaborations, exhibitions and events as well as an ever-evolving and ever-expanding art work in itself, created by Stine Linnemann through landscaping, planting and re-shaping of the living organisms on the land.
